Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a cognitive disorder that affects individuals in many aspects, like thinking, feeling, hearing, speaking and social interaction. Therefore, children with ASD need intense trainings to learn basic life skills in the settings like classroom or clinic and expecting these skills would be transferred to the real context later. This DT Love project is a prototype (to assist research proposed by Dr. Anibal Gutierrez from Department of Psychology) with the goal of evaluating the use of Virtual Reality (VR) to teach skills to individual with ASD. The accompanying paper is a detailed documentation of the design process of this VR system.
