Project Title: "Dean's Blue Hole XR Project"

Project Description: The Dean’s Blue Hole project offers an immersive VR experience for exploring blue holes and underwater sinkholes that reveal Earth's history, climate changes, and diverse ecosystems. This project aims to generate scientific interest, enhance marine education, and inspire future marine scientists and conservationists by providing a virtual journey into Dean’s Blue Hole, contributing to environmental awareness and ocean sciences. “Dean’s Blue Hole” is located west of Clarence Town on Long Island, in the Bahamas.

Students are involved in every step of the project. This is a rendering of the submersible vessel for the Dean’s Blue Hole experience that a student artist, Mariama "Mari" Hilliard, developed according to the requirements given by the lead faculty member.
